Client Services Director

Nicole is IAEM’s executive director, leading all facets of association operations and working in close partnership with the Board of Directors to drive the organization’s mission and strategic vision. Her portfolio spans IAEM’s signature programs — CEM/AEM certification and the annual conference — as well as governance, member services, partnership development, advocacy, strategic planning, communications, and marketing.

Prior to joining IAEM, Nicole spent more than 30 years in association management, including senior leadership roles at the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). At the AOA, she served as senior vice president of affiliate relations, where she led major conferences and served as the primary liaison between the national organization and its affiliates. At the AAP, she directed relationships with 59 U.S. and seven Canadian chapters and developed programs, resources, and services that supported chapters in growing and retaining their memberships. Nicole and her team earned the AAP’s highest staff honor – the Pursuit of Excellence Award – for high-impact process improvement.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Science in health administration from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Business Administration from Roosevelt University. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), a credential conferred by the American Society of Association Executives. She has served on the board of directors of Well Child Center in Elgin, Illinois for the past six years and has held numerous volunteer leadership roles in her local community.
