Who We Are

Founded and led by Harry W. Buzzerd, Jr., CAE, a pioneer in the association management field since 1964, ASMI has built a decades-long reputation for trusted leadership and results. Our leadership team and staff bring deep expertise across a wide range of specialties, including executive management, strategic planning, meetings and events, finance, advocacy, communications, certification programs, and more.

ASMI is an active participant in professional networks, including the AMC Institute, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and the National Association of Manufacturers Associations Council. Our staff maintains memberships in relevant ASAE sections and peer networks, ensuring we stay ahead of industry best practices and innovations.

ASMI’s headquarters is strategically located just outside Washington, D.C., with convenient access to federal agencies, national stakeholders, and major transportation hubs. Our facility includes:

  • A multimedia meeting and training center (seating for up to 40).
  • On-site kitchen, print and duplication services, and Wi-Fi-enabled meeting spaces.
  • Advanced telecommunication infrastructure for global client interaction.
  • Availability for client meetings, events, and hybrid or remote engagements.
