Amanda Perry, M.Ed., NRP,

Amanda has over 20 years of experience working across private, non-profit, and local and international government entities. Her roles have ranged from entry-level clinical provider, such as a paramedic, to senior management teams in state government. Her expertise includes strategic planning, project and grant management, and team building.
Amanda served as program manager and team lead with the Louisiana Department of Health in the Bureau of Family Health, and prior to that, was a program manager with the EMS for Children. At one time, Amanda served as a Health Policy Analyst and Advisor to the Minister of Health in Ukraine, helping the country lay a foundation for improving out-of-hospital emergency healthcare.
In her home state of Louisiana, Amanda was the 2022 recipient of the Sandra C. Adams Award, presented by the Louisiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), to recognize a non-physician for their efforts to improve the health of children through advocacy and community involvement.
Amanda earned her master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education with a specialization in Human Resource Development from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a Bachelor’s degree in English Liberal Arts from McNeese State University in Louisiana. Since 2008, Amanda has maintained her paramedic certification and license, having obtained her Associate’s degree in Applied Emergency Medical Services (EMS). She spends her free time volunteering at her church as the Small Group Coordinator and Prayer Team Co-Leader.
