ASMI Leads with Energy and Innovation at AMCs Engaged 2025

July 21-22, 2025 – ASMI leadership brought energy and fresh ideas to this year’s AMCs Engaged, in Savannah, Georgia. Representing the organization were Barbara Arango, MBA, CAE, and Clay D. Tyeryar, MAM, QAS, CAE, who joined association professionals and industry partners from across the country for this annual event hosted by the AMC Institute.

As part of the program, Barbara presented “AMCI Partners in Play,” a collaborative workshop that offered industry partners creative ways to help associations incorporate more fun into their staff and member experiences. ASMI also led a high-energy HIIT session, a TED Talk-style presentation, entitled “The Power of Play: How Having Fun Drives Success in Associations,” highlighting the mental and physical benefits of play and demonstrating why fun should be a strategic priority in every organization.

The sessions encouraged attendees to rethink the role of joy, engagement, and connection in the workplace and how play can be a powerful driver of success.
