Kathy Robinson has over 40 years of experience in emergency and trauma care, both as a clinician and a healthcare policy consultant. Her professional experiences as a registered nurse and paramedic serve as the foundation for her portfolio of accomplishments in patient care, clinical systems development, policy review and evaluation, strategic planning, and program implementation.

Kathy understands the unique perspectives and needs of membership associations, having served in appointed and elected leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels throughout her career. She has authored numerous publications and lectured extensively both in the United States and abroad.

Kathy was inducted as a Fellow in the Emergency Nurses Association’s Academy of Emergency Nursing in its inaugural class.

Kathy joined ASMI in 2006.
