Program Manager

Kate is is a program manager and provides support for the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). She assists with the IAEM Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) program, as well as coordinating meetings and materials for the Global Board of Directors. She comes to ASMI with experience in association management and event planning, managing targeted, leadership programs for highly motivated students. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where she graduated magna cum laude and received the 2004 CUA Media Studies Award for Excellence. She completed the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management and earned the FSAE certificate for Qualified Association Specialist in 2014. In July 2012, Kate earned the certificate in Association Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). In 2014, she earned the Certified Virtual Event Planner designation from ICohere Academy. She is a four-time finisher of the Marine Corps Marathon, Washington, D.C. Kate joined ASMI in 2011.
